 Nebraska's “Spotlight on 4-H" newsletter for 4-H volunteers, members and families is packed with information and resources. March issue is now online and being mailed to club leaders. Topics include: 4-H Awards and Recognition, Healthy Lifestyles, and Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA).

Market Beef ID/DNA Deadline Change

 This year, the deadline for 4-H/FFA market beef identifications — as well as DNA envelopes — will be changed from April 15 to June 15 for both Super Fair and State Fair entries. This is a statewide change made because of recent flooding. If questions, contact Calvin DeVries at 402-441-7180.

Alum T-shirts

 Lancaster County 4-H seniors who graduate in spring 2019 are eligible for a free 4-H alum T-Shirt, courtesy of Lancaster County 4-H Council. Kiwanis Karnival, April 12

 The annual Kiwanis Karnival, a FREE family event, is sponsored by the Lincoln Center Kiwanis. Ag Youth Institute Deadline is April 15
