The Maxwell Arboretum TREE-mendous Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 16 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Earl G. Maxwell Arboretum, near Perin Porch on University of Nebraska–Lincoln East Campus. Events include children’s activities, crafts, a tree planting and free ice cream from the Dairy Store.

Save the date — a 4-H Council Golf Tournament Fundraiser will be held Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Woodland Hills Golf Course, 6000 Woodland Hills Drive, Eagle with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. This tournament is a four-person scramble and costs $75 per golfer or $300 per team.
