A Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Update Session is scheduled for August. It will be held Saturday, August 19th at the Sportsman Club near West Point. The early bird deadline to register for the West Point training is August 9th.
The time has come to provide an update for all Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors who received their training in 2017 or before. Over the years there have been numerous curriculum changes, updates and additions, with some major curriculum adjustments in the last few years.

A Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor Certification Workshop is scheduled for August in West Point. It will be held August 19-20 at the Sportsman Club near West Point. The early bird deadline to register for the workshop is August 9th.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to become certified as an adult (21 years and older) or apprentice (14-20 years old) leader. Four project areas will be offered at the West Point Workshop - rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery.

The Nebraska Youth Crop Scouting competition will be at the ENREC near Mead, Nebraska on August 2, 2023. Three to five 4-H/FFA youth who are in grades 5-12 are eligible to make up a team.
