OASIS and the Women's Center are partnering with the UNL State Museum's Hubbard Lecture to show 'Warrior Women,' a film about American Indian Movement activists and their children who fought for civil rights in the 1970s. The film will premiere on Oct. 1 at 6pm at the Sheldon Museum of Art.

The Center for Civic Engagement will be taking students to the Badlands of South Dakota during Fall Break to study the Civil Rights of the Great Plains. The trip is $125 per person with $25 due with the application, which is due at the Center for Civic Engagement.

The Lincoln Fire & Rescue Team is looking for volunteers to hand out fliers at the Nebraska/Wisconsin game on Oct. 10 to promote their new app, PulsePoint. The app will inform citizen bystanders of cardiac arrest in public areas so bystander CPR can be performed until medical professionals arrive.
