New "Intro to Men and Masculinity Class" Offered for Spring 2016
The UNL Women's and Gender Studies Program has added an "Intro to Men and Masculinities" course for Spring 2016. The class will explore how cultural expectations shape men's behaviors, and how gender roles are changing. Visit Jan Deeds in the Women's Center in the Union for more info on WMNS 291.
STEM Employment Opportunity Through Americorps VISTA
Beyond School Bells is implementing new and progressive initiatives to expand integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning opportunities in Nebraska after-school programs. The position begins in February and would be perfect for December graduates.
Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service Academic Internship
Spend a summer of service and community leadership in Washington D.C. for 4-8 weeks with the Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service. Students will work to solve local and national issues through this hands-on experience in the nation's capital. Apply before Dec. 5 to qualify for 5% tuition.

The Americans Communication Group is seeking students of sophomore-senior standing who are interested in advocacy and legislative matters. The internship may start as early as December and will include basic office tasks, social media and database updating, and committing 10-20 hours each week.
