This course will acquaint you with the essential texts, ideas, beliefs, and practices of religious traditions of the world, including Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, Shinto, Christianity, and Islam. We will look at both traditional and modern expressions of these religions and analyze them both critically and sympathetically. (ACE 9)
