Don Nelson, a longtime professor of electrical engineering and a driving force in bringing the university into the computer age, died Jan. 23. A founder and director of the Computing Center and co-founder of the Department of Computer Science, Nelson served the university for more than 50 years.

The Radar Consortium All-Hands Meeting will be today and Wednesday, Feb. 5-6, on Nebraska Innovation Campus and on City Campus. The meetings will include university status updates from nine university partners (including the College of Engineering), the MCA signing ceremony, and breakout sessions.
