The Lexington Math Contest for middle and high school students will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Join Lexington High School for a day of fun, friendly math competition on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Lexington, Nebraska! Students in Grades 6–12 are welcome to participate. Middle school students are invited to compete in a Mathcounts-style contest while high school students will compete in Mu Alpha Theta-style events.

The contest uses events and materials from Mu Alpha Theta, whose 2027 National Convention will be held in Lincoln this summer. This is a historic event because the national convention is not traditionally held in Nebraska. The Lexington Math Contest will give Nebraska students and teachers an opportunity to become familiar with this style of mathematics competition before the convention.

The competition is free, and pizza lunch will be provided!

The flyer includes links to register.
