Friday is deadline to apply for graduation in May

To graduate in May 2019, you must apply for graduation by Friday, Jan. 25 via MyRED. Failure to apply by Jan. 25 will delay your graduation by one term. Each electronic application will result in a non-refundable $25 charge to your student account. Click link below for more information.

Leading Class Discussions workshop is today

The Office of Graduate Studies will host the Leading Class Discussions workshop today (Jan. 22) at 3:30 p.m. – in Mabel Lee Hall 262 – on making class discussions a useful way to help students think about class material. This workshop will count towards CIRTL Certification. Register at link below.

Workshop to help international students with job search

“Preparing for the U.S. Job Search,” at 4 p.m. today (Tuesday, Jan. 22 in East Campus Union Arbor Suite) will give international students an overview of how to seek opportunities. Career Services has daily walk-in hours (10 a.m.-4 p.m.) on 2nd floor Nebraska Union or schedule appointment via MyPLAN.

 

Milestones presentation Wednesday on Scott Campus

(OMA) Dr. Eva Bachman, academic success coordinator and associate registrar, will host a milestones presentation Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. in PKI 150 for grad students early in their academic career, discussing milestones for masters and doctoral students and other important information.
