Safety at Home

Access resources if/when you need them
- the GSC is open during the summer. you can call/email us or visit us if you are in town
- the Trevor Project and Trans Lifeline are queer and trans friendly hotlines that provide exceptional service
- research queer and trans organizations and resources that are local to you. this could also be a way to get involved!
Find ways to get out of the house
- you may already have a job or volunteer opportunities, but if not, these are great ways to get involved in your community
- find a third space: a park, a coffeehouse, a library or a local pool are all great options for the summer
Stay connected to your queer friends.
- be active in the group chat, hold weekly calls, or play long distance friendly games
- if possible, make plans to meet up in person over the summer
Attend Pride events
- both in person and virtual events are great ways to honor your queer identity while being in community with other LGBTQA+ people

Remember, being safe is the highest priority!
