The UNL Horticulture Club is hosting a fall plant sale from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., today and Friday at the Nebraska and East Unions. The club will have pumpkins and a variety of house plants for sale.

Joe Stone, president of Cargill Animal Nutrition, will speak at 1 p.m. Friday in the Nebraska East Union. Stone’s talk, titled “Perspectives and Opportunities in Global Agriculture,” will cover trends in global food consumption and the opportunities those create for agriculture and students.
The Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test and Power Museum hosts a tractor tailgate and truck farm show, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 8 at the museum. Activities include a punt, pass and kick competition, a truck farmers market, and a 2:30 p.m. truck and tractor parade. The event is free and open to the public.
