The University Health Center continues to offer flu inoculations to the campus community via appointment. Access is free for students. Faculty and staff will be charged for the service, but are eligible for coverage through insurance plans.

The health center offers flu shot appointments weekdays. Call 402-472-5000 to schedule. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Research Assistant Position (course credit available)

The Nebraska Strong Families Lab is seeking research assistants to assist with two ongoing studies about family and child development during infancy and early childhood. Research assistants will be expected to work on in-person lab visits with parents and their children, assist in recruitment of participants, and create translational research materials for the public. NIH INBRE Opportunity

The NIH INBRE program is accepting applications from sophomore students. INBRE is a statewide program that provides two years of research support ($16,500) for students interested in pursuing careers in the biomedical sciences. Students applying this year will complete a 10-week research experience at a research institution in Nebraska (UNL, UNMC, Creighton Medical) during summer 2020. Following this experience, they will join a lab at UNL for the next two academic years and the summer in between (2021).
