Participants will help design microbiology related pins and stickers. We will also be able to use provided art supplies to draw designs & submit to Redbubble to create collectible pins & stickers. Funded in part by gifts from the Pepsi Quasi Endowment and Union Bank & Trust, UCARE supports UNL undergraduates to work one-on-one with faculty research advisors in research or creative activities. The UCARE program solicits applications from eligible undergraduates for either academic year or summer awards. Awards are competitively reviewed and funded each year and are not automatically renewed.
Students who have already received a UCARE award must re-apply for funding by completing a full application, including a research abstract.

The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions. SHPEP’s goal is to strengthen the academic proficiency and career development of students underrepresented in the health professions and prepare them for a successful application and matriculation to health professions schools.
Application Deadline: February 5, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
UNL is working to provide saliva-based COVID-19 diagnostic testing on campus in the spring, with an expected 24-hour turnaround for positive or negative results and they have OPEN POSITIONS. Apply on Handshake at UNL.

The Undergraduate Student Research Program gives outstanding University undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct research under the direction of an ARD faculty mentor. It is open to junior and senior undergraduates proposing to work with a faculty member who has an ARD appointment.
ARD provides up to $2,500 per successful student applicants, with a required 100% match by the participating units and/or ARD faculty mentor. Next deadline for applications is January 25, 2021. Continue reading…
