More details at: http://www.microbiology.unl.eduAPHL and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) partner to offer a variety of laboratory fellowship programs to train and prepare scientists for careers in public health laboratories and support public health initiatives. As a recipient of American Rescue Plan funding, APHL is expanding its current fellowship program offerings and recruiting for two classes of fellows in 2022—with assignments beginning in January 2022 and July 2022—and adding a new Internship Initiative, which will begin assignments in July 2022. Application Deadline is Oct 29th.

The inaugural Agriculture & Health Summit is a three-day conference that will bring together a unique combination of researchers, industry leaders and thought leaders from the biomedical and agricultural sectors for important conversations about the future of human health. The event will provide a rare opportunity for individuals with diverse areas of expertise to discuss opportunities and challenges in mitigating disease risk via the gut microbiome and to strategize about working toward solutions in nutrition and medicine.
