It’s almost here!! Our 2nd Annual Agar Art Event is this Wednesday, April 6th from 5 to 6 pm @ Beadle E122.1. Those of you who attended the mandatory safety training and finished the online training are able to join us in making art with bacteria !! We can’t wait to see what you can come up with :)

Financing Health School Education

The extra years of school required to become a healthcare practitioner will have financial implications (debt, cost of living, etc.). Attend this session to get started thinking about how you can prepare financially for your advanced education and learn about programs available to help you pay back your health school educational costs.
Dr. Deanna Funnell-Harris at the USDA/Agricultural Research Service, located on the East Campus, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has an opening for an undergraduate student to provide laboratory, greenhouse and field support to plant pathology/microbiology research projects. The position is part-time during the academic year and part-time to full-time during the summer. The hourly rate is $15.00. Benefits include sick leave, annual leave (vacation time) and up to 10 paid holidays per year. Please email Deanna.Funnell-Harris@usda.gov for more information.
