For prospective spring graduates planning to attend the in-person commencement ceremony in Memorial Stadium on May 8, the end of this week - April 9 - is the registration deadline to participate in the ceremony. Due to COVID-19 protocols, you must register to participate in the in-person ceremony.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released travel guidance update for people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. It eliminates some testing and quarantine recommendations, but officials are still not recommending travel — regardless of vaccine status — due to rising numbers.

The university’s saliva-based testing program will begin assessments for COVID-19 variants. The virus sequencing will be completed through the Nebraska Public Health Laboratory.
