UNL students in need of transportation to/from Lincoln Airport and Omaha Eppley Airfield at the start and end of Winter Break can reserve a ride on a shuttle bus organized by ASUN Student Government. Deadline for securing a spot is Dec 15.

UNL emerged victorious in the inaugural “We Give Blood Drive” competition, sponsored by the Big Ten Conference and global health care company Abbott. The university accepted the $1 million prize on Dec. 7. The money will be used to advance student and community health at the university.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will confer more than 1,100 degrees during commencement exercises at Pinnacle Bank Arena. A ceremony for students earning graduate and professional degrees at 3 p.m. Dec. 20 and one for those earning bachelor’s degrees at 9 a.m. Dec. 21.
