'Discovering Our Story' Is Feb. 27

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s student-led “Hate Will Never Win” initiative is expanding under a new name.Now called "Power of Huskers," The student-led project continues with a “Discovering Our Story: Power of HUSKERS” activity at 5 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Willa Cather Dining Center, Red Cloud Room. A limited number of “Hate Will Never Win” T-shirts will be available to students. Free refreshments.

 

Eating Disorder Awareness Week

If you want a cookie, have a cookie!Nebraska's Healthy Outlook Peer Educators (HOPE) group will honor Eating Disorder Awareness Week with "Come As You Are: A Week of Positivity, Learning and Self-Care" Feb. 25-28. Activities include yoga, cookies, a panel on recovery, a vigil and a jean donation drive.

Well-being Coach applications due Feb. 28

Well-being Coaches promote the nine dimensions of well-being.Students interested in becoming a Well-being Coach can submit applications through Feb. 28. Coaches enhance the culture of well-being on campus by meeting one-on-one with peers. Applicants should expect to volunteer a minimum of 3 hours each week an, attend ongoing trainings.

Juniors, take first step toward graduation

At Nebraska, juniors will take their first steps toward experiencing the glory of graduating with a degree by completing Senior Kickoff. UNL Archery 3D Target Tournament

Set your sights for March 8!Join UNL Archery on Friday, March 8 from 5 to 9 pm (last line at 7:30) at the Nebraska Outdoor Education Center (4703 N 44th St). Participants have the opportunity to shoot 3D targets ranging from raccoons to raptors. All skill levels are welcome and equipment is available to rent. $10 for students.
