As part of the Thomas C. Sorensen lecture series, John-Michael Keyes, founder of the "I Love U Guys" Foundation, will speak on Monday, Sept 9, 2 p.m., at the Nebraska Union on City Campus, about the tragic story of a violent school shooting in Colorado and the work of the foundation.

New season of Angels Theatre Salon Readings
Angels Theatre kicks off the 2019-20 season of its Salon Reading Series on Sunday, Sept 8, 2 p.m. at Turbine Flats, 2124 Y St. The Salon Reading Series offers the opportunity to listen to a contemporary play read by local actors. The readings are free and open to all members of the community.
