SLICE is proud to partner with Husker Athletics to once again offer the fall student tailgate experience for our Recognized Student Organizations. This year’s tailgate list includes Volleyball Day in Nebraska!
RSO officers can sign up their student organization, fraternity, or sorority for up to all seven tailgate events this fall.
Organizations must be in compliance and in good standing with SLICE, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and other applicable University departments.
Reservations are first-come, first-served, and are limited to 25 organizations per event.
Fall 2023 Student Concession Registration is Now Open!
There are eight opportunities to work this year, including all fall home football games and Volleyball Day in Nebraska!
Organizations must have a minimum of FIVE members per game and must commit to a minimum of TWO games. Each member will be compensated $75 per game to be transferred into the organization’s SOFS account. Organizations can earn $125 per member for Volleyball Day in Nebraska on Wednesday, August 30th.
Participating RSOs will earn a minimum of $750 for committing at least five members for two events.
Sign-ups are due 10 business days prior to each event.
Playfair Assistants help incoming students feel included and encourage participation in icebreakers.
20 Huskers Needed to Volunteer for Playfair
Student Leadership, Involvement & Community Engagement (SLICE) is looking for 20 energetic returning UNL students to serve as Playfair Assistants (PA). Volunteers will be trained by the Playfair facilitator and will receive food and a t-shirt. The role of the Playfair Assistant is to encourage the participation of incoming students in icebreaker activities, make sure everyone feels included, and assist if a student needs something.
Date: August 16
Volunteer Time: 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Meeting Location: Nebraska Union, Room 200 (SLICE Office)
Playfair: The Ultimate Icebreaker is a powerful program for campus unity and school spirit that is unlike anything else you have ever experienced. It's entertainment! It's fun!
