A retirement reception for Sharon Shannon, administrative tech for Information Technology Services will be held March 6, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at 403 Love Library. Shannon was the first point of contact and coordinated student hiring for ITS.
Shannon enrolled at UNL as a student in 1995, following fourteen years as a court stenographer/deputy clerk for the State of Nebraska in Dakota County. She was a student worker in the both the Math Department and Vocational and Adult Education, then started as a staff secretary in Information Services.
Shannon retired on January 5 after 17 years of service.
