Hackers accessed user information on the PlayStation network, according to Sony Corp, owner of PlayStation. Credit card information may have also been stolen, along with user names, addresses, and other personally identifiable information.

"We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011, certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account information was compromised in connection with an illegal and unauthorized intrusion into our network," reports Sony.

Meanwhile, Microsoft warns XBox Live users may be subject to phishing email scams while playing "Modern Warfare 2"
