The Table Setting Contest will be held virtually this year for ages 8–18. Register by Monday, July 13 by calling 402-441-7180 (there is no entry form). Provide 4-H’ers name, age and category (picnic, casual, formal or birthday). A “how-to” handout will be available at the Extension office or online at http://lancaster.unl.edu/4h/fair. Participants select a theme and display one place setting, including table covering, dishes, glassware, silverware, centerpiece and menu. No food needs to be displayed. Submit a 5-minute judge presentation by Monday, July 20, 11:59 p.m. A public online viewing of entries, along with ribbon placings and top award announcements will be available online — link will be posted at
