i>clicker version 6.2 is available

i>Clicker upgraded software is being released, offering greater functionality and a simplified user interface. After quality assurance testing for the last six weeks, v6.2 of the i>clicker software for PC and Mac is available for download.
Instructors currently using the Blackboard integration tool to post scores to the grade center, need this latest release of the i>clicker software to connect to Blackboard.
The Blackboard integration component has been redesigned yet remains fast and easy to use for those instructors who wish to post scores to the grade center. The following are several of the changes/updates that have occurred during this rewrite.
**The Blackboard integration module will be available on August 27 from http://learningspaces.unl.edu/clicker and is a drop in installation for both Mac and PC users. Immediate use of the classroom application will not be affected by this later addition.**

•New self-paced polling. Students can now answer multi-question assignments (quizzes) at their own pace.
•Simplified toolbar. The toolbar is back to a single "Start" button with the option to select different question types if desired.
•Improved results chart. The Results Chart now scales to a much smaller size. Instructors can click the bar chart to select a correct answer.
•Faster sync. Synching with the i>clicker registration database has never been faster.
i>clicker Base Firmware v5.04
•Faster vote gathering. The latest firmware is the fastest to date. Faster vote collection means more discussion time for your students.
•Self-paced polling. Learning Spaces will support new Self-Paced Polling feature in i>clicker v6.2, and will deploy the update to firmware v5.04 on all supported classroom base stations. Instructors who are using base stations in an independent environment may obtain the firmware update by contacting Learning Spaces support.
•Backward compatible. Firmware 5.04 is backward compatible with i>clicker v5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 6.0, and 6.1 software version.
