Microsoft Office 2013 update bug

Microsoft released an Office 2013 update with a bug that causes the email folder pane to disappear in Outlook. This update affects Office 2013 only. The folders are viewable in the Outlook Web App (OWA). It is unclear how many users at UNL are impacted.

Approximately 900 updates were downloaded at UNL, but that number includes machines that have not yet installed the update or that run a different version of the software and are not applicable. The update has been removed and is no longer available.

The current solution is to uninstall the update labeled "Update for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB2817630) 32-bit Edition" or "Update for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB2817630) 64-bit Edition"
