Connected Learning Online Conference, Feb. 3 - 5

Attend the Educause Learning Initiative (ELI) annual meeting via a shared online connection, Feb. 3 - 5 in ARCH 107. The theme of the conference is "Connected Learning: Opening Pathways, Enabling Collaborations". Information Technology Services invites all interested faculty, staff and students to attend a selection of seminars. The event is free, but seating is limited.

UNL is a member of Educause, a network of over 1,800 colleges and universities worldwide sharing perspectives on IT strategies.

Faculty rates IT usage and satisfaction

The survey was a joint venture of Academic Affairs and Information Technology Services.Over 84% of UNL faculty say they use a computer or mobile device to teach in the classroom, according to a December survey conducted by Academic Affairs and Information Technology Services. UNL Maker Club's first meeting is Feb. 5

UNL Maker Club's first meeting is Feb. 5: 7 p.m. in 318 SECA new UNL club focuses on student-initiated projects combining art, design, engineering and technology. The first meeting is Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. in SEC 318. Prof. Shane Farritor will discuss "maker space" ideas for Nebraska Innovation Campus. Raising Cane's chicken will be provided.
