Three civil engineering students - Flavia Mendonca, Elsayed Salem, and Dulitha Fredrick - earned Richard DeLorm scholarships from the American Concrete Institute Nebraska Chapter. The scholarships recognize students with ability and interest in concrete construction or concrete design.

The University of Nebraska ASCE chapter will be having their general meeting on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Othmer 106. The guest speaker will be Zach Thiemann from Valmont, who will be speaking about teamwork and resume building skills. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
