Dr. Jongwan Eun is researching the effectiveness of interim landfill covers using an Ethylene Vinyl-alcohol membrane. His research will help to limit gas and odor emissions of active landfills.

"Nondestructive evaluation of concrete bridge decks with automated acoustic scanning system and ground penetrating radar", co-authored by Dr. Jinying Zhu, was published in the June edition of 'Sensors'.
"Effect of Softening Additives on the Moisture Susceptibility of Recycled Bituminous Materials Using Chemical-Mechanical-Imaging Methods", co-authored by Dr. Yong-Rak Kim, will appear in the September edition of 'Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering'.
