The Fair Book is now online and indicates changes from last year's Fair Book in green text. Fair Books will be mailed to 4-H/FFA families about March 20.

Rabbit Show, March 17

2017 4-H Spring Rabbit ShowThe 4-H Spring Rabbit Show will be held Saturday, March 17, 9 a.m. at the Lancaster Event Center – Exhibit Hall. Open to all youth ages 8–18. Registration 7:30–8:30 a.m. All rabbits must have a permanent legible tattoo in the left ear (tattooing available at the show 7:30–8:30 a.m. — $1 per rabbit).

New 4-H Cooking Project Books

Cooking 101 manual.jpgStarting in 2018, Lancaster County is using the new 4-H Cooking series, 4-H Cooking 101-401. A new Home Food Preservation series is also available. “Let’s Bake Quick Breads” is another new foods project book which includes gluten-free bread recipes. Continue reading…

 

MyPI Disaster Preparedness Program for Teens

mypi_ne_0.jpgMy Preparedness Initiative (MyPI) is a great opportunity for teens wanting to build life saving skill sets! A series of trainings begin Saturday, April 14, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Lincoln. The deadline for applications is Sunday, March 31.
