Congratulations to Charlene Alexander, who received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from EDPS in 1992 and is featured in Diverse Issues in Higher Education, as one of 30 visionary women who have set the standard in leadership excellence. Charlene is currently the Associate Provost for Diversity at Ball State University. She has been on the faculty there since 1997 and directed their counseling program since 1999. She is also the past president of the Indiana School Counselor Association. Her research interests are in the area of multicultural counseling, school counseling and international psychology. She is the co-editor of the Handbook of Multicultural Education and has published more than 30 articles and book chapters related to multicultural counseling.
