The 11th Annual Chili Cook-off will be held on November 21, 2014 (Friday), 5-7PM in the Great Plains Room of Nebraska East Union at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We want to invite you to this fun and meaningful event as you can eat the tasty chili from the competitors or you can even participate in the competition with your best chili recipes! The proceeds of the Chili Cook-off are going to Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach which is an organization who helps to relieve hunger and prevent homeless.
The admission fee is $10 or 10 cans of food for a family, or $5 or 5 cans of food for an individual, which includes a beverage and a cinnamon roll.
In addition soup bowls souvenirs are available for a $2 donation.
To compete with your favorite chili for the Chili Cook-off, please submit your application through the website below no later than November 14 or call the Student Involvement office at (402) 472- 1780.
