Austin Oder and Jessie Patterson, both PhD students in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, have been awarded New Century Doctoral Scholarships from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. The New Century Scholarship program supports strong doctoral candidates who will pursue a teacher-investigator career in the academic environment, university/college level. Austin and Jessie will be recognized at the American Speech Language Hearing Association convention in November.
