Are you a freshman girl interested in science, technology, engineering and/or math? If so, come to the 2014 Women in STEM Workshop on Sept. 20, 2014 in the Regency Suite of the Nebraska Union from 10 AM -2 PM.
This workshop is co-sponsored by the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science and Engineering, and Earth and Geological Sciences. You don’t have to be a major in these fields to participate.
The event will feature roundtables with faculty in UNL’s STEM departments, speakers from the Women’s Center, UNL Big Data Initiative and First Year Experience and Transition program, as well as a free lunch.
