New CSE Professor Mohammad Hasan has an intense passion one can feel through his writing. He describes the people of his home of Bangladesh as "colorful. I have learned to love life from them." He describes his passion for physicist Richard Feynman with the phrase "he changed my life forever!"

Before coming to UNL, Hasan taught in Australia, Bangladesh, and at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His passion for teaching is palpable. "Through my lectures," he writes, "I want to convey a simple message: how beautiful this life is and that the pleasure of finding things out is overwhelming!"

He's emphatic that Feynman had a profound influence on him for his multifarious and enthusiastic intelligence. He discovered the physicist in his undergraduate years at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh as a Physics major and has remained inspired by him since.

He loves the "nice people" at UNL and the Lied Center and Mary Riepma Ross Arts Center. He enjoys classical music, good movies, and good books.

Sign up for one of his classes, which he views as "a realm of great magic that has the potential to transcend [students'] souls and change their lives."
