ACM-W is the Association for Computing Machinery Council on Women in Computing. It supports, celebrates, and advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field and working in the larger community to advance the contributions of technical women. Campus ACM-W chapters offer students activities and projects that aim to improve the working and learning environments for women in computing.

The CSE Department is planning to set up an ACM-W chapter on campus. All interested graduate students, undergraduate students, and faculty are invited to the kickoff meeting on Friday, February 6 in the lounge on the third floor (Avery 348) at 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Join ACM-W to celebrate women in computing, become informed about the educational and career opportunities in the field, and make a difference in the global computing community!
