Global Industries, Inc. is a worldwide manufacturer of grain storage, handling and conditioning equipment. Located in Grand Island, NE, Global Industries, Inc. is looking for a software developer.
This position may work from Grand Island office or in Omaha, if necessary. Main responsibilities include: develop, prepare and maintain in-house quoting and sales order programs via .NET, C# and Visual Basic for all product lines offered by Global Industries divisions while supporting engineering departments for programming and software configuration needs.
Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in in Engineering or Associates Degree in a Technical Design or Computer Programming Field and experience and knowledge of C#, .NET, and Visual Basic programming languages and have a strong understanding of Access & Excel programming and database management.
Candidates should also be able to interpret and understand technical documents (i.e. engineering drawings, manuals, formulas).
