Concerned that someone is spying on your email? Learn more about the Pretty Good Privacy protocol built for not only email, but also file sharing and day-to-day use.

On Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Avery 347, OS2G will be hosting a presentation on how to use PGP along with a demo of both setup and use.

OS2G will also be hosting two more special Privacy Month events at its meetings in September:

Sept. 20: TLS/SSL Private CA and OpenVPN setup
—An introduction to TLS/SSL certificate management and configuration of an OpenVPN server and clients, including Android.

Sept. 27: PGP Keysigning Party/Social Media Privacy
—Exchange your newly created PGP keys with other members and begin using encrypted email. Then learn how to protect your privacy when using social media platforms.

All CSE students are welcome to join the group every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Avery Hall 347.
