The University of Nebraska Foundation has two positions open for a web application developer and software developer/system analyst.

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER
University of Nebraska Foundation, Lincoln

At the University of Nebraska Foundation, we believe the relationship with the donor is valued as much as the gift. Through innovation in programs, services and activities, we are reaching donors. We seek a self-motivated individual to join our software development team. Duties include working with the software team to assess existing web applications and business processes, coordinate web application development with the software team, including coding and modifying, ensure that web software technologies and applications are running efficiently, and research best practices in web and technology. This position requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 1-3 years experience in web design development. Experience with Microsoft SQL server, CMS, strong UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards is preferred. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly adaptable, and have strong problem-solving skills.


SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/SYSTEM ANALYST
University of Nebraska Foundation, Lincoln

At the University of Nebraska Foundation, we believe that private gifts have the power to transform higher education. Our IT department is an important part of this belief. We’re embracing innovation in programs, services and activities and are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our software development team. Duties of this position include working with the software team to implement new software, procedures, practices, methodologies and support, assess existing business processes, coordinates software development to meet technical requirements, ensure that software technologies and database administration are running efficiently and research best practices in technology. This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3-5 years experience with software application development. Experience with Microsoft SQL is preferred. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly adaptable, and have strong problem-solving skills.
