Position Information
Job Title: Intern – Legal Department
No. of Openings: 1
Hours Per Week: 40
Duration: May – August (when school ends until school begins)
Location: Student’s living arrangements must accommodate working in Shawnee, KS
Position Responsibilities:
Support departmental projects in the following areas:
• Review commercial contracts and assist with updates to standard templates (e.g., Services, Sponsorships, Non-disclosure Agreements)
• Review of current issues/case law, legal research and writing and related dutes, as assigned
• Assist attorneys with various acquisition integration activities
Applicant Qualifications:
• Completion of one-two years of law school
• Preference will be given to students who have at least completed required first year course work and any additional courses with focus on business law, administrative, regulatory law or IP
• Ability to work in a team environment.
