Apply for the 2011-2012 Student Advisory Board

It's time to apply to be on the 2011-2012 Student Advisory Board for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications!

The Student Advisory Board consist of 13 members, 12 undergraduates and one graduate student. The board's primary purpose is advocate educational quality in the college. It establishes and maintains open channels of communication with students in order to gather students' opinions and concerns and to keep students informed about college issues.

SAB members must meet the following criteria:
1) Be in good standing with the college and university
2) Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA at the end of the preceding semester
3) Be declared in the college at all times while serving as a member
4) Represents the sequence in which you�¢ï¿½ï¿½ve declared a major
5) Cannot be an ASUN senator during the term sought

Applications are due on Tuesday, March 29, at 5 p.m.

New members will be recognized at the Honors Convocation, Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. during the college's J Days celebration. Each member will serve a one-year term and may reapply for membership the following year.
