The Skagway News is seeking a reporting intern. The internship offers free board, $200 per week and an unforgettable experience working for a small town newspaper. Interns will have a hand in every aspect of the paper: writing stories, taking photos, laying out the paper, picking it up from the printing press in Canada and distribution. The newspaper covers sporting events, such as The Yukon River Quest, The Skagway Marathon and The Kluane Chilkat International Bike Relay. Interns will attend meetings, find features and more.
