The Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication selected CoJMC professor Valerie Jones as a 2017 Kopenhaver Center Fellow. She will attend the Women Faculty Moving Forward (WFMF) Workshop in Chicago where she will get the opportunity to network and connect with other fellows.
The center was created to empower women in academics and professional careers in communications to advance in their careers and become visionaries and leaders. They provide support and guidance to fellows through mentoring, networking and preparing them for tenure and/or administration positions.
