The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) selected CoJMC professor Michelle Hassler as one of the 2017 Great Ideas for Teachers (GIFT) professors. The AEJMC presents the GIFT program every year as part of their annual conference.
Hassler is one of 25 finalists who will present her GIFT, Embedding for Empathy, at the AEJMC conference Aug. 9 in Chicago where the top GIFTer will be announced. There were over 40 GIFT entries from across the country.
