HSFPP Instructor Training

Training on the revised HSFPP will be held on April 30, 2013 in Omaha at UNO from 9 a.m. until noon and will also be held on May 1, 2013 in Lexington at UNL Extension Dawson County Office from noon until 3 p.m. Please register for one of the trainings by contacting Leanne Manning, UNL Extension Educator, by Friday, March 22, 2013 at leanne.manning @unl.edu or 402-821-2151.

NEFE’s High School Financial Planning Program (HSFPP) has improved the financial literacy of millions of students across the country for nearly 30 years. Each workshop offers award-winning, noncommercial curriculum which aligns with state and national standards and provides easy-to-use lesson plans as well as free instructor manuals and workbooks for every student.

At this training you will:
* Be introduced to all program materials
* Explore the HSFPP lessons
* Gain confidence in teaching the program
* Learn how to add value to student learning
* Find out how to get your free classroom materials

Who should attend:
* Teachers responsible for personal finance instruction
* Volunteers who co-teach the HSFPP
* Parents or instructors of homeschoolers
* Mentors/youth leaders involved in facilitating personal finance workshops for youth
* Those responsible for introducing teachers to the HSFPP
