Mobile access to information is a growing requirement. Customers want – and expect – this access and successful small businesses provide it.
The Nebraska Broadband Initiative will offer a free webinar that explains the steps to successful mobile operations. The webinar, "Taking Advantage of Mobile," will be held March 20 at 10 a.m. To join the event, go to connect.unl.edu/broadband.
"In today's world, going mobile is becoming not an option but a necessity to reach your customers," said Connie Hancock, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension educator. "Making decisions about your mobile strategy requires being knowledgeable about the options you have available."
UNL experts and small business leaders will share their expertise on the impact of mobile information access and applications for individuals and small businesses. The presentation, part of the series "Don't Know What I Don't Know," will be live and welcome questions.
"Customers are accessing local information, searching for products and looking for direction to businesses," Hancock said.
This webinar series is part of a project funded by a grant to the Nebraska Public Service Commission by the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration. The Broadband Mapping and Planning Initiative has been conducted by a coalition of Nebraska partners, including the PSC, UNL Extension, the UNL Center for Applied Rural Innovation, the Nebraska Information Technology Commission's Communication Council, the AIM Institute and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
