Campus Recreation is accepting new personal training clients for spring 2015. Several packages are available with a discount offered for UNL students and Campus Rec members.
The Personal Training Starter Package for weight loss/gain is the most comprehensive option and best for those starting or restarting their fitness journey. The package includes a resting metabolic rate measurement, a fitness assessment, a nutrition consultation and a 1-hour session with a certified personal trainer.
The resting metabolic rate (RMR) is the amount of energy required for one to stay alive with no physical activity. It can be a useful tool for those who want to lose or gain weight, as it is a baseline for calorie expenditure. Personal Trainer Starter for weight loss/gain is $90 for UNL students or Campus Rec members and $145 for General Public. The General Public fee includes a $10 facility fee.
Other personal training and nutrition options include Personal Training Starter Package (everything included above except RMR), body composition analysis, sports nutrition consultations, medical nutrition therapy and packages of five and ten personal training sessions.
