Go green on St. Patrick's Day with the Lorax! The Environmental Sustainability Committee (ESC) in partner with The University Program Council (UPC) presents the film, The Lorax, to celebrate the countdown to April’s Earthstock movement. Earthstock is a month-long celebration to involve UNL students and the Lincoln community in building an understanding about the urgency and feasibility of sustainability. Throughout the month, the Earthstock team will be hosting events around Lincoln with the goal to empower the community to engage in environmental activism.
The film will be shown outdoors at the Nebraska Union Greenspace, 1400 N. 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68508, on Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at 8:00pm. The admission is free for all UNL students and open to the public. Themed St. Patrick's Day snacks will be provided. Dress warmly, bring a blanket or chair to sit on, and your own cup to reduce waste at the event!
