Lincoln, Neb., Sept. 13, 2016, Career Services to have two of the largest Career Fairs at Pinnacle Bank Arena (PBA) for the second year, once again bringing the largest employer selection available to students to date. Over 1,000 total representatives from 364 unique employers are expected to attend. Among the employers are several new to UNL's fairs, including Alliant Engineering, C.H. Robinson, AgriVision Farm Management, Farmer, Lumpe, and McClelland (FLM+), Hanover Re, and Spring Branch Independent School District.
The Business and Liberal Arts fair (Wednesday, Sept. 28) and the STEM fair (Thursday, Sept. 29) will be held at PBA. This year we anticipate a record high for employer attendance at our STEM fair, with nearly 200 registered employers compared to last year's 158.
Career Services will also host an Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources fair (Tuesday, Sept. 27) in the East Campus Union, and an Actuarial Science fair (Monday, Oct. 3) and Education Fair (Wednesday, Oct. 20) in the City Campus Union. We anticipate record employer attendance as we continue to reach full capacity at our fairs.
