The Gamma Sigma Delta annual chapter meeting is Sept. 23 in 116 L. W. Chase Hall. The meeting begins at 2 p.m., with a reception following immediately after. The seminar is scheduled for 3 p.m. and will feature a panel addressing the topic, "Interactions of Energy, Climate and Environment."

Gamma Sigma Delta is an honorary society of agriculture whose objectives are focused on the advancement of agriculture in all its phases.

A panel of UNL faculty will lead the meeting's discussion about energy, climate and environment. Each panelist will deliver a short opening statement followed by a moderated 30-minute question and answer discussion with the audience.

Donald Wilhite, School of Natural Resources, is the moderator. Shirley Niemeyer, Textiles, Clothing and Design, will address "Setting the Stage: The Built Environment." Jerry Hudgins, Electrical Engineering, will address "Environmental Aspects of Electrical Energy Production." Roger Hoy, Biological Systems Engineering, will address "Interrelations of Emissions Regulations and Fuel Economy." Adam Liska, Biological Systems Engineering, will address "Energy and Climate: Weighing the Issues."
