I sincerely hope your holiday season was merry and bright, and you were able to share time with family and friends. During this season of auld lang syne, where we celebrate the past and the future, my inner artist still looks forward to the announcement of Pantone’s color of the year. And for 2017, that color is Greenery.
So, what does that mean? The executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, explains “This is the color of hopefulness…It speaks to what we call the ‘re’ words: regenerate, refresh, revitalize, renew.” For more information go to http://go.unl.edu/cngd.
Call it coincidence. I call it timely and relevant, particularly as the State of Nebraska is facing significant fiscal uncertainty. Here in UNL Procurement, we know green is also the color of money, and we are committed to helping the university make economic purchasing decisions and save a lot of green. We look forward to working with you in the year ahead!
